Carol Galle, CMP, is the Co-Founder, President and CEO of Special D Events, an award-winning national meeting and event management agency and Detroit's longest-running Destination Management Company (DMC). Since co-founding the company in 1992, Carol has helped organizations across the United States and internationally use meetings and events to strengthen relationships, celebrate milestones, inspire action, and achieve measurable business goals. She also founded The Anniversary Company, one of the nation's few consulting firms dedicated exclusively to helping organizations strategically celebrate significant business anniversaries. A Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Carol is recognized for combining innovative thinking with practical execution, mentoring the next generation of event professionals, and challenging clients to think beyond logistics to create experiences with lasting impact.
