Special D Events was founded and incorporated in April 1992 by two women who had a passion for both event management and client satisfaction. Their combined experience in both the agency and corporate worlds propelled their business into immediate, steady growth. Since 1992, the company has planned events in each of the 50 United States, as well as internationally. The “D” in Special D Events stands for Detroit and, in recent years, the city has experienced a tremendous resurgence, prompting the company to have offices in both the city and the suburb of Ferndale.
